He lives for human connection, especially the moment Will (the Guardian Family’s college aged son) walks through the door. Wrestling matches? Count him in. Couch cuddles? Even better. He’s got the heart of a gentle old man and an old soul to match—wise, mellow, but always down for some low-key mischief.

He has impeccable taste in comfort, often claiming the best seat in the house: the new couch, of course. From there, he keeps a watchful eye on the world through the picture window, becoming a bit of a local celebrity as neighbors wave to him like royalty on his throne.

As for food? Charlie’s a purist. He sticks to his kibble and peanut butter—and that’s it. No scraps, no fuss. Just the good stuff.
